- Come along at the date and time you choose and you'll soon be embarking on a brand new employment adventure.
Eligibility: Registering is easy but you must be 19 years or older and have been living in the UK for a minimum of three years (or be an EU Citizen). In order to qualify for free training, you must be in receipt of active benefits and evidence of this will be required.
Don't know where to start?
We're currently looking for candidates in a number of sectors, and don't forget, we'll give you all the training you'll need to get your foot in the door. Just select a career that you think you'll be suited to and get in touch to find out more.
What to expect from an Enrol & Assess Day
This is the start of our journey with us, and it's all very straightforward. We'll give you all the information you need, and will explain exactly what's expected from you in order to start your course.
You'll be given some enrolment forms to fill in, and an Initial Literacy Assessment, which is just to make sure that you've got the necessary level of literacy to complete one of our courses.
Once we've marked your test we'll either send you an invitation so that you can start the programme of your choice, or tell you which other options are open to you.
You'll need to bring some identification with you on the day - we'll let you know exactly what this is when you sign-up.
What is it like working in… Retail?
"Yes, there are long hours, and you often need to work at the weekend, but no job's perfect and the buzz and the excitement more than makes up for it," says Retail Assistant Alex Zamora. “No two days are the same, you get to meet different people all day long and you feel like you're part of a team. And it's not just selling or working on the till, you're involved in every aspect of the store and can prove yourself in so many different ways. And if you fancy it, you can always apply for a job in head office, or work up the ladder and run your own store."
